Styledbaby's Cards

I feel so blessed - I am lucky enough to be the one who gets to design and make the cards for Styledbaby Boutique, Cafe + Playhouse. It's a privilege to work with Delia to create fun and classy cards for her business so she can send them out to customers and clients. Here is a little sample of what I've been working on for Delia.

Thanks so much for the opportunity, Delia. And for those of you who are up here near Portland - hop on over to Styledbaby, located in Historic Downtown Hillsboro - you'll be glad you did.

a satisfied customer... and sister!

Below is a rave that Summer, my sweet sister-in-law (but more like sister) wrote about lemon drop studio and my cards... Thanks for the kind words, Summer.

Lemon Drop Studio has amazing and fun products! I have been thrilled with my card purchases. Every time that I place an order, Shauna is more than happy to customize my cards, and they always turn out even better than I imagined! Shauna helps me stay in touch with my family across the country in a fun and creative way- making the cards personalized for each recipient. After being spoiled with her cards- I never want to buy a commercial card again!

I was reviewed!!

Toni from Photo Bug Baby did a review of my Earth-Friendly Heart Crayons and I just wanted to share it with all of you. Click here to see the review.

Thank you, Toni, for such a great review. I am more than pleased to see your sweet one playing with the crayons. Enjoy them!!

another order almost complete

I have almost finished Whimsidoodle's card order, and can't wait to finish it up when Taylor takes his afternoon nap today. I have two wedding cards left to complete the order, then I'll take it to the post office to mail it away!! Whimsidoodle is a fellow etsian who is making me some lovely origami boxes that I want to keep in a vase or big glass bowl in my kitchen, and to take to decorate the table at craft/art fairs. She made them in my most favorite colors - green, light blue, orange and yellow - citrus!! Here are some of her cards that I have been working on. Go check her shop out, too, she's super talented, and friendly!!

whimsical and fun - just as life should be

Hi Friends!

I just finished a custom card order for my sweet sister Summer and wanted to share them on the blog. I am really diggin' the fun colors and the carefree feel these cards give off. I had a BLAST doing these cards. Thank you for the order, Summer, you're the greatest. The pink sock monkeys are by far my favorite. Finding that paper was like finding a nugget of awesomeness at JoAnns. I am sure that I did cartwheels and backflips all the way to the cash registers, perhaps only in my mind, but I did them.

Enjoy the cards! I have some paper left if anyone is interested...

cool site...

I love sharing great finds!! Here's my most recent treasure:

I found this website that is just too cool, and has great deals. Peachy Cheap has ONE scrap booking or craft item for sale each day, and it's usually ridiculously cheap, and great name brands. Add this site to your 'check daily' list. Add my site as well!!

new logo, new look

I am revamping things here at lemon drop studio. What does that mean, you ask? It means that I have a new logo, will have new business cards and marketing collateral, and lots of other fun changes that make me smile.

The new logo isn't up on the blog yet, but pop on over to my etsy shop to check it out.

And we have a WINNER...

Okay folks, the Random Number Generator did it's thing - let's see what happened...

WendiWinn (who left this ironic and hilarious comment):

any comment at all?

then I shall leave you with this:
don't use random.org. I don't believe it works. every time someone uses random.org, my number doesn't come up. and someone else always goes home with my prize.

Congratulations, Wendi!! Contact me with your information so I can mail you your cards!! I guess random.org had to prove itself to you! How funny!! Do you believe now?! I hope so!

I did happen to pick 2 runner ups - I hate to just pick one winner, so being the sucker that I am, I had random.org pick 2 others numbers -- and they are: 7 and 25.

Commenter 7 is DANA from Old Red Barn Co - congratulations, Dana, you get 30% off any custom listing or order on my etsy site... just let me know if you want anything!

Commenter 25 is Theresa N. Theresa, you are also eligible for 30% off any custom listing or order on my etsy site!

Thanks for a FUN giveaway, and stay tuned for more in the future!!

drawing a winner...

... in FIVE hours!! There is still time to enter the GIVEAWAY, just click here and leave a comment! It's really that easy. Is anything else in life this easy? The answer is no.

I will be announcing the winner via my blog as well as by twitter today, some time after noon, but before five... oh the anticipation is building!

Good luck!

- halloween 08 -

I just completed lemon drop studio's Halloween 2008 Line and I am really excited about them, and I hope you are, too!

At first when Albertina Kerr's asked me for Halloween cards, I was nervous, but I really enjoyed doing this line. I think they are pretty fun.

They will soon be in Albertina Kerr's Gift Shop in North Portland, but if you want a few for the upcoming spooky holiday, just shoot me an email or leave me a comment and I can get you a few - just specify which one(s) you want and how many.

I hope you enjoy these fun and spo
oky cards!

Thanks for looking, and don't forget to enter the giveaway mentioned in the previous post, you still have time to win!!
